Adidas review: two years of use

I have bought Adidas clothing and footwear six times since July 2024. Each order cost between £50 and £165. Most of it is sportswear that I also wear day to day. This review follows the whole set of purchases from the first order to now.

After 3 months (October 2024)
My first impression was very good. The clothing is comfortable and stylish enough for everyday wear. It came through the first few months of washing without any problems.
The one frustration was fit. The same size does not always fit the same way across different products. I had to check each product page carefully, and it is easier to get right if you can try things on in a shop first.
After 6 months (January 2025)
I was still wearing the clothing a lot. The materials had held up well overall. A few items had started to fade a little after repeated washing. Washing them cold and inside out is worth doing from the start.
After 9 months (April 2025)
By this point a pattern was clear. The more expensive products were holding up best. Some of the cheaper items had not kept their shape as well as I expected.
After 12 months (July 2025)
After a year, Adidas is still a brand I would buy again. Most items had aged well. I did start to ask whether the cheaper Adidas lines are better than cheaper alternatives. In some cases I could not see much difference in quality, so part of the price is the logo.
After 24 months (July 2026)
After six purchases over two years, the picture is mixed. The better-made products have lasted very well and are still in regular use. Others now look tired. My advice is to be selective. Spend on the higher-quality ranges for items you will wear often, and compare the cheaper lines against other brands before you buy.
Verdict so far
A dependable sportswear brand with a wide range. Quality depends on which line you buy, so choose carefully. I will update this review if anything changes.
